Nighthawk Audio Productions is the perfect place for independent artists and bands to realize their vision.

Our studio features several high quality instruments available for use, including all tube guitar amplifiers, bass amplifiers, and an assortment of outboard effects to flesh out your tone. We also host a suite of professional virtual instruments to increase the textures available for larger arrangements and electronic music.

Beyond the sound we also create professional sheet music for print. Using state-of-the-art scoring software we can create everything from an entire score set for an orchestra to a lead sheet for improvisation. Having written records of a song can generate sales revenue or serve as the basis for a copyright claim.

Post Production

Songs, albums, and movies are made by visionaries, but finalized by a trained, practiced ear. Once the final notes ring out all the individual pieces must be brought together in order to create a finished product. Welcome to the world of post production.

 Mix engineering involves taking all the individual recorded tracks, finding a sonic space for them, and adding flavoring to the sound. A properly mixed piece will sound good on virtually any speakers, to accomplish this specialized equipment and plenty of experience is necessary to isolate certain trouble frequencies and keep them under control.

Once each piece is sounding its best, it's time for mastering. This adds a few final touch-ups to the mix, but most importantly it optimizes a mix for distribution. This involves a thorough knowledge of the distribution medium, be it a CD, streaming online, or TV broadcast.
